CSV to vCard converter

Convert a contact CSV to a vCard .vcf file — names, email, and phone in one download. Free, no sign-in.

What is CSV to vCard conversion?

CSV to vCard conversion reads a contact spreadsheet and writes a .vcf file: one vCard per row, with a formatted name, email, phone, organization, and address. Use this free converter to paste or drop a CSV, adjust the column mapping, and download contacts for a phone or address book. Nothing is uploaded.

What you can do here

Turn a contact spreadsheet into a vCard file.
  1. CSV to vCard: One row becomes one vCard, written into a single .vcf download.

  2. Column mapping: Headers such as Email and Phone are suggested. Override any field before export.

  3. Names, phones, and addresses: FN and N, voice and mobile numbers, organization, title, and a home address.

  4. Copy or download: Copy the vCard text or save contacts.vcf for a phone or address book.

How to convert CSV to vCard

Three steps from a spreadsheet to a .vcf file.
  1. Paste or drop the CSV

Use a header row. Comma, tab, semicolon, and pipe files are detected.

  2. Check the column mapping

Confirm name, email, and phone. Skip columns that are not contact fields.

  3. Download the .vcf

Import contacts.vcf into a phone, Google Contacts, or Apple Contacts.

Tips for a clean vCard file

So address books do not drop rows.
  • 01

    Keep a real header

First Name and Email map themselves. A sheet with no header cannot tell a phone from a city.

  • 02

Put mobile in its own column

A header that says Mobile becomes TEL;TYPE=CELL. A general Phone column becomes a voice number.

  • 03

    Quote cells that contain commas

Street names such as "12, High Street" need standard CSV quotes so the address stays one cell.

  • 04

    One contact per row

Blank rows are ignored. A row with no name, email, or phone is skipped and counted.

Great for

CSV to vCard jobs people actually run.
  • Phone imports

Move a spreadsheet of people into an address book without retyping.

  • Event and CRM exports

Turn a guest list or contact export into a .vcf the phone can open.

  • Team directories

Share names, emails, and offices as one vCard file.

Why convert here

A private CSV to vCard converter.
  • Local-first

    Contact rows are not uploaded.

  • Free to use

Map columns and download a .vcf with no account.

  • No signup

Paste the CSV and export immediately.

  • Editable mapping

Unusual headers still land on the right vCard property.
