What this PDF color changer does
Ways to change the color
Paper color: Near-white and gray areas take the color you pick. Saturated marks, such as a blue rule, stay as they are.
Invert: Every color flips. A white page with dark type becomes a dark page with light type.
Grayscale: Color is removed and the page is saved in shades of gray.
A new PDF: Each page is drawn, recolored, and written into a PDF you can download.

Tips
- 01
Use a light paper color for dark type
Dark type stays dark. A light paper color keeps that type readable.
- 02
Invert for a dark page
Invert is the treatment that turns the whole page dark, including the type.
- 03
Unlock a password file first
An encrypted PDF has to be opened on Unlock PDF before this page can read it.
When to use this page
A tinted document
Give a white PDF a paper color before you print or share it.
A dark reading copy
Invert a light document so the page is dark.
A gray copy
Strip the color from a page that should print in black and white.
