What is Animos?
What it costs
- Free tier
- Yes
- Pricing summary
- The free tier is permanent rather than a trial: every template, unlimited edits, 720p MP4 or WebM export, and no account needed to start. Pro lifts exports to 1080p, 2K, 4K, and 8K, adds unlimited exports plus up to 50 projects with folders, and is the only plan card that lists commercial usage rights—so check that line before a free export goes into paid client work. Pro is sold as one flat subscription or as prepaid export tokens, priced in US dollars or Indonesian rupiah, with no per-seat charge. Because rendering happens on your own machine, you are not paying for storage or compute on their servers. Confirm current tiers on the official pricing section.

What Animos provides
A template library in ten motion families
3D and perspective, multiscene, isometric, orbit, carousel and flow, grid, spotlight and focus, reveal and wipe, stack and scatter, and media layouts. The editor listed 75 named templates when we checked.
Drop-in media, text, and logo layers
Each template exposes its own media slots plus text and a logo upload, so the template adapts to your content instead of forcing a fixed layout.
Per-template parameter controls
Padding, corner radius, ring tilt and opening, card size, perspective, back fade, and shadow are sliders, and color fills accept solid, gradient, or image sources.
Keyframes when you want them
Sliders and color controls accept keyframes, so a template can be pushed past its default motion without rebuilding the animation from scratch.
Frame-exact MP4 and WebM export
Render from 720p up to 8K straight from the browser tab, in six aspect ratios including 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16.
Loops that do not jump
Templates are built to loop without a visible seam, which is what makes the output usable as a portfolio hero or a replaying social post.
Nothing gets uploaded
Projects and the media inside them are stored by your own browser, so animating unreleased client design never sends files to a server.
Account optional
The free 720p tier runs without signing in; an account is only needed to export above 720p or to keep a plan and project allowance.
How designers use Animos
Open the editor and pick a motion family
Start from the movement you want—orbit, grid, carousel—rather than a blank canvas. There is no timeline to set up first.
Drop in your own media
Fill the template slots with images or video. Because rendering is local, the preview is the real output rather than a low-resolution stand-in.
Tune the template parameters
Adjust padding, perspective, card size, and background, add text or a logo, then set the loop duration to match how long the clip should run.
Export at the resolution your plan allows
Free exports cap at 720p; Pro unlocks 1080p through 8K with unlimited exports. Choose the aspect ratio from the six presets before rendering.
Convert or compress only if the destination needs it
A GIF for a README or a lighter MP4 for an upload limit is a separate step; Uwarp’s Video to GIF and Compress Video handle that on-site.
Who Animos is for
Product and brand designers
Turn finished UI and brand work into motion for portfolios, case studies, and launch posts without opening After Effects.
Designers under NDA
Because projects stay in the browser, unreleased work can be animated before approval without uploading assets to a third-party cloud.
Solo marketers and creators
Produce feed-native square and vertical motion from assets you already have, with no account needed to test whether a template works.
Design engineers and small teams
Get a demo or changelog clip out of static screens quickly—and reach for an in-product animation tool when the motion has to ship inside the app.
When Animos is the right pick
Platform and licensing notes
- Browser-only, with a local-first data model
- The editor renders in the tab and keeps projects, uploads, and folders in your browser’s own storage rather than on a server. The trade-off is real: clearing browser data deletes your projects, and they do not follow you to another computer.
- What the server does store
- An account is optional and only required above 720p. When you create one, the service holds your email, plan and export-token balance, export records (template, format, resolution, time), and payment references—never your designs or uploads.
- Product stage and moving template counts
- The interface labels itself beta, and the published template count is inconsistent: the homepage and share-card copy say 25, the Pro upsell says 50+, and the editor listed 75 across ten families. Treat the library size as a moving target and check the editor.
- Commercial use is a paid-plan line item
- The Pro plan card lists commercial usage rights among its benefits, while the free tier is described only as templates, edits, and 720p export. There is no separate public license page, so get commercial terms confirmed before a free-tier export goes into paid client work.
- Payments and infrastructure providers
- International payments run through Polar as merchant of record and Indonesian payments through Mayar, so card details never reach the Animos team. Account data and sign-in use Supabase, and delivery runs on Cloudflare.
- Analytics and privacy controls
- PostHog records a fixed set of product events against an account ID, and Google Analytics measures site traffic. Session recording and automatic click capture are deliberately disabled, and analytics can be turned off for your browser.
- Publisher and support
- Animos is operated by Herdetya Priambodo as an individual rather than a registered company, with support reachable at halo@animos.app. The privacy policy was last updated 25 August 2026.
